Sister Centers

The Center for Structural Biology of HIV RNA is a member of the NIGMS/NIAID-sponsored Specialized Centers for HIV/AIDS Related Structural Biology. Collectively, these Centers will help elucidate how virus and host molecular components interact and will reveal new approaches for disrupting those interactions, potentially leading to new targets for HIV therapies. The other Centers are:

  • (CHEETAH) Center for the Structural Biology of Cellular Host Elements in Egress, Trafficking, and Assembly of HIV

  • (HARC) Center HIV Accessory and Regulatory Complexes

  • (PCHPI) Pittsburgh Center for HIV Protein Interactions

  • (HIVE) Center for HIV Interaction and Virus Evolution

  • (DCHSB) Duke Center for HIV Structural Biology
